This commercial didn’t make it to my DVD containing more than 100 vintage beetle commercials. Why? Well, the commercial isn’t vintage and it is not a beetle commercial. It’s a general VW promo. Still, it’s fun watching this one!

This car was INCREDIBLE. It was capable of splitting apart, and then coming back together. I"m sure that made it easier to get in the back seat. You could probably choose to drive 1/2 of the car, and get twice the m.p.g.

VW beetles are VERY suitable to use as driving school cars. This commercial shows a woman (of course) who has her first driving lesson. Since she is alone in the car, I don’t know what happened to her instructor!
